| Model / Family | Best Fit | Search-Friendly Description | Typical Decision Point |
|---|---|---|---|
| 251CRR / 267CRR | Pallets, drums, oily conditions | Heavy-duty CDLR chain-driven live roller pallet conveyor for positive-drive handling. | Choose when roller conveyor is preferred and load support is spread across rollers. |
| 350CRR | Heavy pallets and drums | Heavy-duty CDLR conveyor with 3-1/2 inch rollers for rugged pallet handling. | Choose for heavier duty cycles, larger rollers, and demanding plant-floor applications. |
| 251ACDA / 251ACDE | Pallet accumulation | Pallet accumulation conveyor using air-operated chain-driven live roller zones. | Choose when pallets must queue without damaging upstream loads. |
| DC / DCE | Drag-chain pallet transfer | Low-profile drag-chain conveyor and photo-eye accumulating drag-chain conveyor. | Choose when chain contact, pallet orientation, or transfer geometry fits the application better than rollers. |
| SL | Rugged positive drive | Slat conveyor for heavy industrial unit loads and pallet handling applications. | Choose when a continuous carrying surface is required. |
Both are CDLR pallet conveyors. The 251CRR / 267CRR family fits many positive-drive pallet and drum applications, while the 350CRR uses larger rollers and heavier construction for more demanding heavy-load conveyor systems.
The DC is a drag-chain conveyor for heavy pallet handling. The DCE adds photo-eye controlled air-operated accumulation for applications where pallets or skids need controlled queuing.
Heavy-Duty Pallet Conveyor Questions.
A heavy-duty pallet conveyor is a conveyor system engineered for full pallets, drums, skids, containers, and industrial loads that exceed ordinary package conveyor requirements.
CDLR means chain-driven live roller. A CDLR pallet conveyor uses chains to positively drive rollers, making it a common choice for pallets, drums, and heavy unit loads.
Drag-chain conveyors are often selected when pallet orientation, low profile, chain contact, transfer requirements, or load geometry make roller support less ideal.
Yes. Automated Conveyor Systems, Inc. manufactures custom engineered conveyor systems based on load weight, throughput, layout, transfer points, accumulation needs, and distributor project requirements.
