The Challenge

Built for E-Commerce Demands.

ACSI builds conveyor equipment that forms the backbone of fulfillment centers, from simple single-line pack-out conveyors to multi-zone accumulating systems designed to keep pace with high order volumes. Whether your facility ships a few hundred orders a day or tens of thousands, we manufacture standard and custom-configured conveyor equipment sized to your layout and throughput requirements.

At the inbound end, belt conveyors — particularly our LPB and HPB slider bed models — are commonly specified for receiving lines, label application stations, and carton induction. Available in widths from 8″ to 36″ and lengths to 130 feet, they can be built with variable speed drives, magnetic starters, and push-button stations to match your operational workflow. Standard and non-standard bed widths and drive configurations are available on application.

For accumulation — where cartons or totes need to queue without product-to-product contact pressure — our 190MRA motorized roller (MDR) conveyor is the flagship solution. Running on 24VDC brushless motor rollers, it provides true zero-pressure zone accumulation at speeds from 60 to 200 FPM in 15″, 21″, 27″, and 33″ belt face widths. Each zone operates independently, so products stop and release without colliding — critical when you are handling fragile goods or scan-tunnel integration points where a clean gap between cartons is required. MDR systems consume significantly less energy than conventional line-shaft or chain-driven accumulation and are simpler to wire and maintain. Optional belted MDR zones improve product contact and smoother zone-to-zone transitions for certain product types, and optional Poly-V driven rollers provide quiet, efficient roller-to-roller power transfer where that is preferred over belt-surface drive.

For product routing and sortation within a line, ACSI manufactures a range of powered conveyor accessories including air-operated roller stops, wheel diverters, chain transfers, and plows that can be incorporated into a conveyor system designed around our standard product line. Our belt-driven and chain-driven live roller conveyor families — including the 22CRR and its curve and spur variants — provide the straight runs, curves, and merges needed to route cartons between zones.

For gravity pick lanes and shipping staging areas, our skate wheel and roller gravity conveyor lines are economical and maintenance-free. Standard gravity models in our Zip Ship program ship within a few working days — useful when a facility expansion is time-sensitive and you need lanes added quickly without a long lead time.

ACSI works with a network of material handling distributors to take a project from layout and specification through to a delivered, operational conveyor system. Your ACSI distributor brings application and integration expertise while drawing on our full product line — standard catalog models, factory options, and custom-engineered equipment for requirements outside the standard range. Common Applications

Fulfillment Conveyor Building Blocks.

Most e-commerce and fulfillment conveyor systems combine several of these elements. ACSI manufactures each component — standard or custom-configured.

Inbound & Receiving

Belt conveyors (LPB, HPB) for carton induction and receiving lines. Variable speed drives and multiple widths available. Up to 100 lb/ft capacity on the HPB.

Zero-Pressure Accumulation

190MRA MDR conveyor for zone-by-zone carton accumulation without product contact pressure. 24VDC brushless motor rollers, 60–200 FPM, minimal wiring.

Routing & Sortation

Belt-driven and chain-driven live roller curves, spurs, and merges (22CRR family). Air-operated diverters, plows, and wheel diverters for zone routing.

Gravity Pick Lanes

Skate wheel and roller gravity conveyor lines for pick module flow lanes, shipping staging, and carton flow. No power required. Zip Ship models available quickly.
