Compare ACSI Incline Conveyors.

Choose among slider-bed belt, roller-bed belt, and small-parts designs based on the load, elevation change, available run, belt surface, and retention needs.

Incline Engineering NoteACSI incline conveyors are available in a wide range of incline angles. Cleated belts are recommended for inclines over 15°. Contact our engineering team for slope, cleat, and capacity guidance. AutoCAD® layouts available with order. Contact Engineering →
Incline Conveyor Selection

Plan the Product, Rise, Run, and Belt.

An incline conveyor must control the product throughout the transition, slope, and dischargeβ€”not simply fit between two elevations.

Product & Base

Document product size, weight, center of gravity, bottom condition, packaging, and allowable orientation. Small or unstable items may require side guards or a dedicated small-parts design.

Rise & Available Run

The required elevation change and available horizontal distance establish the conveyor angle and influence the overall length and transition geometry.

Belt Surface & Cleats

Belt friction, product stability, direction, speed, and angle determine whether a smooth, rough-top, or cleated belt configuration should be evaluated.

Rate & Transitions

Throughput, spacing, infeed and discharge elevations, nose-over arrangements, and connections to adjacent equipment should be defined before final selection.

FAQ

Incline Conveyor Questions.

What information is needed?

Provide the product, weight, base, elevation change, available run, desired rate, travel direction, and adjacent equipment elevations.

When are cleats considered?

Cleats may be evaluated when belt friction alone cannot reliably retain or space the product on the required slope.

Slider bed or roller bed?

A slider-bed belt rides over a formed bed. A roller-bed belt rides over supporting rollers, reducing belt drag for applications that require that arrangement.

Who handles system installation?

ACSI manufactures the conveyor equipment. ACSI distributors provide system integration and installation.
