How Does a Line-Shaft Conveyor Work?

A line-shaft live roller conveyor uses one longitudinal drive shaft beneath the conveying rollers. Urethane O-rings transfer power from that shaft to individual rollers, allowing one drive arrangement to power a series of straight, curve, and spur sections.

The platform is commonly evaluated for compatible cartons, totes, and unit loads with stable bottoms. Its modular routing options and accessible O-ring drive components can make it a practical choice for packaging, distribution, and other light- to medium-duty transport layouts.

The ACSI family includes a straight 190LS conveyor, 190LSC-series curves and spurs, and the photo-eye controlled 190LSE for zero-pressure accumulation. Product support, load, rate, line length, curves, accumulation, and operating environment determine the final configuration.
