What Is a Belt-Driven Live Roller Conveyor?

A belt-driven live roller conveyor powers conveying rollers from a belt beneath the roller surface. Compatible cartons, totes, cases, and other unit loads ride directly on those driven rollers rather than on a continuous carrying belt.

ACSI belt-driven live roller models cover light- and medium-duty accumulation as well as V-belt-driven curves and spurs. This lets a conveyor layout transport, queue, turn, merge, or branch compatible products while maintaining a roller conveying surface.

The correct model depends on product weight and bottom condition, roller support, route, accumulation method, queue length, rate, controls, and operating environment. Heavier loads or more positive-drive requirements may point to chain-driven live roller conveyor.
